About Chris Roland
Chris Roland has lived in District 93 for most of his life. The past 24 years he has been a resident of St. Matthews. He grew up in Swansea, South Carolina and graduated from Swansea High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. He is a registered professional engineer in several states. He has been married to Patti for 30 years. They have two daughters, Lauren and Erin, and a son in law, Connor. Patti is a retired public school teacher having taught 10 years in Lexington School District Four and 18 years in Calhoun County Public Schools. Lauren currently teaches in Lexington School District Four. Erin is a registered nurse.
He is an active member of Four Holes Baptist Church and the Saint Matthews Rotary Club. He has coached basketball, soccer, baseball, and softball for many young people in the community. He also volunteers his time helping those in need by building ramps with a local church group. He views every day as an opportunity to help his community and make it a better place.

Chris Roland is dedicated to championing the needs of South Carolina House District 93. With a strong commitment to the community, Chris aims to bring the collective voice of the district to the South Carolina General Assembly for a stronger, united future. He is committed to continuing to make a positive impact in the community and improving the lives of his constituents. Through hardwork, dedication and collaboration, he knows he can inspire our community to achieve goals that bring forth a greater bond amongst us all and allows government to act in its intended role of serving the people. He would be honored to serve the people of South Carolina House District 93 and promises to give his best.
